Plan your visit: A 4-day MEDICA schedule - Tata Surgical at MEDICA 2026, Düsseldorf

The best MEDICA visits are planned before you land. Decide what you want to find, book your key meetings in advance and leave room for discoveries. Here is a simple four-day plan you can adapt.

Before the fair

  1. Write down your goals. For example: three new instrument suppliers, two OEM partners, prices for one product line.
  2. Use the online exhibitor search to build a shortlist.
  3. Email the companies on your shortlist and book meetings.
  4. Download the MEDICA app and save your stands.

Day 1: Monday 16 November

  • Morning: Pick up your bearings. Walk the halls in your main product area.
  • Afternoon: First booked meetings. Collect catalogues and price lists.
  • Evening: Review notes and adjust your plan.

Day 2: Tuesday 17 November

  • Morning: Your most important meetings, while everyone is fresh.
  • Afternoon: Visit country pavilions and new exhibitors.
  • Evening: Business dinners with suppliers.

Day 3: Wednesday 18 November

  • Morning: Talks at the forums that match your interests.
  • Afternoon: Second meetings with your top suppliers to discuss samples and prices.

Day 4: Thursday 19 November (open until 16:00)

  • Morning: Last visits and any stands you missed.
  • Before 14:00: Final talks. Some stands start packing up in the afternoon.

After the fair

Send follow-up emails within a week while you are still fresh in suppliers’ minds (see After MEDICA: how to follow up and turn contacts into orders).
