The best way to make MEDICA worth the trip is to arrive with meetings already booked. Popular stands are busy, and walk-in visitors often wait or are asked to come back. Start booking three to four weeks before the fair.
Step 1: Find the right exhibitors
Use the online exhibitor search on the MEDICA website. You can filter by:
- Product group, such as “surgical instruments” or “dental instruments”
- Country of the exhibitor
- Hall
Open each exhibitor’s profile to see their products, contact details and stand number.
Step 2: Use the MEDICA app
The app lets you save exhibitors to a favourites list, see them on the hall map and plan your route. Some years it also offers a matchmaking or messaging feature. Download it a week before the fair.
Step 3: Send a short email
Keep it simple. For example:
Subject: Meeting request at MEDICA 2026
Hello, I am [name], [job title] at [company] in [country]. We import [“products”]. I will visit MEDICA on [days] and would like to meet you at your stand to discuss [“products”]. Would [day and time] work? Best regards, [name]
Step 4: Confirm and plan
- Put every meeting in your calendar with the hall and stand number.
- Leave 15 to 20 minutes between meetings to walk between halls.
- Save the contact person’s mobile number in case you run late.
